GTA VI Trailer 1 introduced Rockstar’s return to Vice City and the wider state of Leonida.
Rockstar released the first GTA VI trailer on December 5, 2023. It officially established Leonida as the game’s state and confirmed a return to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and surrounding areas.\n\nSome information attached to the original 2023 announcement, including its old release window, has since been superseded. ViceTheory therefore treats Trailer 1 as an important historical source for the setting and visual direction, while using newer Rockstar announcements for the current launch date.\n\nFor current release information, the official date is November 19, 2026.
